The Suggestively Suggestive Suggestion Blog.

Got something to complain about?
Demand the improvement of every single little writing and aesthetic aspect of this little corner of net-trash?

Well frankly, I don't care. To a great extent. I'm not at all concerned if you thought my writing was complete tripe, or that my metaphors were so full of crap, you had to rush to the toilet in flowing tears. I really don't care. Not one bit.

Alright, spit it out.

You write like me when I just came to Australia and tried to use big words to make myself sound smart. That was 4 years ago. Thats right. You write like me,  not the omnipotent me now, but the fob me four years ago.

Nice song. Joshua Radin is a terrific artist, and We Were Here shows it. I actually found out about him from a recommendation from Zach Braff. Not personally, mind you, he has a blog.

Whilst Miles, as we all know, is a legend not to be trifledwith, Sufjan is awesome to the point of no return. Whilst the beginning of the song might remind one of a really bad 80's garage group destined to a lifetime of unrecognition and obscurity in the entertainment world, once the string counter-melody and the children's chorus comes in, it's deliciously delicious, in all it's deliciously delicious deliciousness.

"Speaking their names, they shake the flag
Walking the earth, it lifts and lags,
We see a thouand rooms to rest,
Helping us taste the bite of death.
I know, I know my time has passed,
I'm not so young, I'm not so fast,
I tremble with the nervous thought,
Of having been, at last, forgot."

Ah, good ol' Sufjan. I shall duly consider reverting the media player to a non-automated start-up status, just for you.
I know, I know. I'm just so freakin' nice.

For the love of god, turn the music off. Here I am, sitting here, listening to some sweet sweet Miles, oblivious to what was to occur. And lo', what this, modern pop/rock ? Ew

Actually I don't have a problem with the music, it just pisses me off when people have music on their blogs, it interrupts my music and also scares the shit out of me.

So off with the music please,
Ivan

You,

Thanks for dropping by, and linking back. Much appreciated.

The site looks as smooth as ... well, something extremely smooth - these days, comparing the smoothness to a baby's bottom just seems terribly wrong.

Sincerely,
Me.

I came to yonder blog with a frumpy look on my face, expecting you to nonchalantly shut me down yet again with your ever-so pervasive "access denied". However it opened, and I was amused, to say the least. "CLICK HERE" had changed to "Click Here." ... Did this reflect a personal change, a deeper, earthier, moodier darker undertone,  an attempt to increase coolness by factors unknown?

More opened. I was amazed. This song was cool, Sufjan Stevens, typical. Awesome. However - A new feel! Black on White, as opposed to white on black. "Interesting" I mused. "Though the sparkley bits do naught to entertain me. Looks like icing. Mmmmmm"

Wow big. The rest of the site hit me with its funkadelic colours, movie reviews (which  I read) and album reviews (once again, read. ), and charming little lists. Jamie Cullum sings.... "Aaaahhh.... so that's why he showed me Sexy Back", Profile: "Wow, he pulls of the angsty asian look quite well", and then, Blog list. Or rather B- to the log list.

Oh My.

Upon scrolling through this, my eyes darted up and down, "Oh yeah, noice" before I started to realise my blog had not been mentioned. My heart quickened. I  then thought I would be near the end as a massive climax or something. My heart slowed.

Then I reached the end - My Blog Was Nowhere To Be Seen - I Panicked. Scrolled up and down and up and down. Re-read the list twice, just to make sure. Even as I typed this, I checked once more to make sure I was not making an utter fool of myself typing this Magna Carta sized entry. But no.... It seems I am not there.

What is the reason for this? Am I not good enough? Am I not great? Am I too old fashioned, outmoded, thrown out with the trash? Is this my fate? To rot among the piles of 'unmentionables', too measly enough to warrant a linking, suffered to sit down in this wretched gutter waiting for someone with the kind heartedness to offer me their hand and raise me out of this festering suckhole of oblivion? I thought that person would be you.... to think you let me down.... after all these... weeks....

Oh, the humanity.

In all due respect,

- Ashwin.
